"Trapped Under Ice" by Wynn Miller

Wynn Miller is an award-winning photojournalist and advertising photographer. In a career that has spanned over thirty years, Miller's photos of skateboarder Tony Alva and East Los Angeles' "Arizona Maravilla" are considered seminal. A Los Angeles native, Miller studied photography at Santa Monica College and UCLA.

Miller's photo was inspired by the Metallica song "Trapped Under Ice."
