"Creeping Death" by Andy Biersack

Andy Biersack is best known as the lead singer and creative force behind the band Black Veil Brides, as well as solo work under the name Andy Black. As an actor, he portrays Johnnie Faust on the Amazon Prime series Paradise City.

His art for "Creeping Death" sprung from a deep admiration for Metallica. Biersack explains, "As I got older and began to write my own songs, the tone and style of James' [Hetfield] lyrics and singing became a huge influence to me. The use of religious and cult metaphors and the tenacity with which he sang was something I aspired to, and to this day continue to be inspired by. Metallica, to me, is the quintessential heavy metal band. Equal parts darkness, intellect, and vitriol."
