"No Remorse" by Shawn Barber

Shawn Barber began painting portraits of tattoo artists in 2005, leading him to become a tattoo artist himself. "My dedication and enthusiasm for the art form gradually opened doors for me to learn the craft from some of the greatest tattoo artists in the world," Barber says. "My life is consumed with tattooing, the art of tattoo, and documentation of tattooing through painting works on this subject."

Barber's war-themed oil painting is a haunting companion piece for "No Remorse."
