Brandon Heart (Hockenheim, Germany Poster)

Heavily influenced by the horror movies he watched as a kid growing up in Lancaster, California, artist Brandon Heart's penchant for creepy visuals shows in his reaper image for the inaugural Download Germany festival, Hockenheim, Germany, June 24, 2022. Over 65,000 fans were in attendance.

When asked about his repeated use of eye imagery (see the figure's forehead and hand), Heart says: "It's just a human thing, you know? We're always looking. When you really want to talk to someone, you look them in the eye."
