Godmachine (Belo Horizonte, Brazil Poster)

Godmachine made this image for the Estádio do Mineirão performance, Belo Horizonte, Brazil, May 12, 2022. He is one of the UK's leading cult artists who "grew up on the Welsh coast, staring at the stars and listening to Fugazi and The Doors, reading 2000AD." Well-regarded and often emulated by others, Godmachine's groundbreaking work was published in 2014's The Art of Godmachine, available from Flood Gallery Publishing.

This show made worldwide headlines when an emotional James Hetfield discussed some pre-show insecurities. He was met with a group hug from the rest of the band and cheers from the audience, to which James gratefully affirmed, "I am not alone, and neither are you."
