Rex Ray (San Francisco, California Poster)

American graphic designer Rex Ray created this x-ray hands poster for Metallica's four-night stint at The Fillmore in San Francisco, California back in May 2003. Ray (1956-2015) is noted for being one of the first artists to use Mac-based technologies to generate graphics.

The four consecutive shows from May 18 to May 22 each featured a different opening act: CKY, Systematic, The Depressor, and Death Angel.
