Shepard Fairey (Detroit, Michigan Poster)

Contemporary artist Shepard Fairey, perhaps best known for designing Barack Obama's 2008 "Hope" poster, created this image for Metallica's Orion Music + More festival performance at Belle Isle, Detroit, Michigan, June 8 and 9, 2013.

On the first day of the two-day festival, Metallica performed a secret show under the name "dehaan" in which they played the entirety of Kill 'Em All. The pseudonym was a nod to actor Dane DeHaan, star of the film Metallica Through the Never.
