The Black Album Listening Party

Ticket for the Metallica New Album World Premiere listening party, Madison Square Garden, New York, August 3, 1991. The band gave away 15,000 free tickets to fans to hear The Black Album before its official release. Lars Ulrich remarked that evening, "The only annoying thing is that our album played the Garden before we did."
