Rock & Roll Hall of Fame

Metallica was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, April 4, 2009. Flea (Red Hot Chili Peppers) gave the band's induction speech saying, "Their motivation was and is pure...This is outsider music and for it to do what it has done is truly mind-blowing...For the people who give it up and get rocked by Metallica, the world is a lot less lonely of a place. Metallica is fucking rad."
