"2x4" by Victor Castillo

Since the age of five, Chilean-born artist Victor Castillo has been obsessively creating diverse expressions through painting, drawing, collage, and muralism. In 2004, Castillo emigrated to Barcelona, where he developed an aesthetic that references comics, American animation from the 1950s, and graffiti. ​

In addition to smaller pieces like this impactful painting inspired by "2x4," Castillo has also created large-scale murals for the Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes, Centro Cultural Gabriela Mistral in Santiago, and the Centre de Cultura Contemporánia in Barcelona.
