MotherLOAD

Metallica's MotherLOAD Contest was sponsored by MTV and culminated in a performance on June 24, 1996. Metallica appeared at Louie's Pub in Aberdeen, Washington, to perform for contest winner Mike and fifty of his friends. Mike and several of his guests were invited on stage to play the final song, "For Whom the Bell Tolls," with the band. ​
