Raiders Parking Lot Party

​James Hetfield, Lars Ulrich, Kirk Hammett, and Bob Rock (acting bass player while the band looked for Jason Newsted's replacement) in the Network Associates Coliseum parking lot, January 19, 2003. The band performed a six-song surprise show in the lot on a flatbed truck. The purpose was to pump up the Oakland Raiders just before their AFC Championship game against the Tennessee Titans. It worked, as the Raiders won 41-24.
