Secret Show, 1984

Metallica attempted to play a secret show at Mabuhay Gardens (also known as The Mab), San Francisco, California, July 20, 1984. The band booked themselves as "The Four Horsemen." The Mab billed them as "Kill 'Em All." According to Brian Lew, "this was the worst-kept secret imaginable; mobs of people were turned away."
