"Seek & Destroy" by Robert Hardgrave
For the past 30 years, Robert Hardgrave has been a significant contributor to the Pacific Northwest art scene. His work has been shown in Los Angeles, Seattle, New York, San Francisco, Chicago, and Madrid. Hardgrave describes his art: "Content follows process where the action of 'making' reveals feelings and notions which can be read similarly to a dream. I attempt to make work which is suggestive yet maintains mystery."
Hardgrave's enigmatic piece inspired by "Seek & Destroy" was created using acrylic and thread on burlap. The Black Box spoke with Hardgrave about Metallica's influence on his work.
