St. Anger

St. Anger was recorded April 23, 2001 through April 8, 2003 at a studio in the Presidio in San Francisco, California, and at Metallica HQ in San Rafael, California. The recording of St. Anger marked a tumultuous time for the band professionally and personally, as documented in the 2004 film Metallica: Some Kind of Monster. ​
